My Testimony By Marvin Sapp

What’s Done Is Done

Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

1 Peter 3:4

Worrying about what I’ve done is useless because it’s already done. Fretting over what is before me only makes me anxious and the situation more stressful than it need be. What I should be focusing on is what’s inside me. That’s what makes me who I am and how I handle life.
What’s in my heart and spirit is the driving force behind how I treat others and what kind of example I am for Christ.

When I see how much I dwell on my past mistakes, instead of zoning in on having a loving attitude and an open hand to all of God’s children, I get a queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach, because I usually know when I’m not doing what I should be doing.

Like too many people, I just don’t always make the right choice. Once I get my heart right with God, I keep my eyes on Jesus and see all the wonderful joys of being alive.

What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Moving Forward Monday

I know, I know, I know. its Monday. But let’s not be moping that it’s Monday and use this Monday to build on. Its a New Week, New Month and New Opportunity to get better. If you need any motivation to move forward just know that someone didn’t wake up this morning and you did. So take advantage of that ultimate blessing that the man upstairs gifted you with. and make the most and be grateful of this opportunity. Whomever you have ill feelings for, got done wrong by, owes you something or whatever the case maybe that you’re holding any type of grudge,  let it go and move forward. You aren’t helping yourself grow by holding on to something that’s already happened. Only a fool trips over something that’s behind them. Have a great day, great week, great month and create great moments

“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:12-14 ESV
